We belive that the church is made up of real people, who take time out of their schedules to contribute to the kingdom of God. Therefore, the majority of people that make up our ministry team, are volunteers. They're people just like you, who believe that they have a place in the active leadership of the church. If you have any questions for these people, come on a Sunday, and there's a very good chance that you will see everyone of them!

Director of Young Adult Ministries
Grant Kay graduated from Pt. Loma Nazarene University with a Bachelor's degree. He will be attending Bethel Seminary to complete his Master of Divinity degree. He is the Young Adult Director at Pacific Beach Presbyterian Church. He loves ministry, loves God, and loves teaching. He believes that the mission of the church is to ease the suffering of the world through tangible relief and spiritual awakening. Social Justice and equality are very important to him, and Roots PB is his number one priority!

Media Manager/ HR Coordinator- Kyle Goossens
Kyle helps out with all aspects of our ministry. Sometimes he is in the sound booth, other times, he's helping run a Bottle Service, Community Dinner, or Theology on Tap. In other words, he has a servant heart. He makes sure that all of our events are posted on Facebook, so that you know where to go and when to be there.
